Coffee has always been part of our story, even before we realized it. Born into a Sudanese family and raised in Ethiopia, we grew up immersed in the rich traditions of coffee. Our mother perfected the art of roasting coffee, blending traditional Sudanese flavors with Ethiopian coffee. Now in Canada, her ginger coffee became a favorite among family and friends, bringing joy of green coffee beans to life. 

Our journey is also inspired by our father, co-founder of Asala Coffee Trading Co. LLC in Dubai. For over five years, Asala Coffee has sourced specialty, premium, and commercial coffee from Africa, Asia, and South America, delivering over 600 containers annually to markets across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Rooted in these rich experiences, we founded Leylnas Coffee in 2024. Leylnas, is an arabic word [لِلنَّاس] that means “for the people.” This name captures our belief that coffee is all about the people. It is the heart of countless connections and a quiet companion in our most grounding moments.

Our mission in Canada is to share the beauty of high quality green coffee beans— fresh, flavorful and ready to fill your home, cafe or roaster with a memorable aroma.
